Some might say that's pay-to-play, but honestly what's a better option? Consider it a small investment in preserve a fun future experience, if that sounds better to all the mental gymnasts out there.
One need only imagine how much easier logistics/coordination would be, if Leads didn't have to do a bunch of handwaving on short notice to get a theme camp allotment and instead foster some actual radical self-reliance among attendees who are given much more time plan their respective pilgrimage.
